As Ashley’s (unofficial) lawyer, I shall point out that the official Halloween rules clearly state “Trick or Treat”, therefore her actions are clearly covered under the “Trick” clause of the contract. Thus, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you must acquit! Not Guilty!
Well, it says “Trick OR Treat” not “Trick AND Treat”, therefor all charges will be dropped, if the defendant is willing to return all treats.
…yeah that’s not gonna happen. 😉
